As an actor and director in film and theatre myself I am keenly aware of a performer’s need for a good headshot and I have good sense of what the industry standards and trends are for headshots.

I approach my headshot sessions like much of my other work, with a desire to capture my clients as relaxed and most like themselves as possible.

For some, headshots can feel a little more daunting than a typical portrait session because all shots are taken looking straight into camera, because making a connection with the person looking at the image is the main job of a headshot. My job is to make you feel as comfortable as possible while capturing the best side of your for your headshots!

My headshot sessions have outdoor and indoor options. For indoor sessions I rent a studio space on an as-needed basis at the Women's Council House in the south end of Halifax. During the summer and fall on nicer days I have outdoor sessions as an option for your shoot.
